Welcome to the portion of the site where I rather awkwardly try to describe myself without sounding like I’m trying too hard. I can tell you’re excited.
I am a geek and proud of it. If left to my own devices, every second of my day would be spent reading, building things out of cardboard, painting game miniatures and taking care of 18 dogs. Unfortunately so far I’ve only accumulated two dogs, but there’s plenty of time yet.
In 2007 I found myself in charge of a gaming clan and in need of a website for them to spam. Since the only person I knew with the relevant skills was too busy, I decided to give “this web design stuff” a try, and enjoyed it enough to still be at it in 2011. Yeah that’s right, I’m a relative newbie in a world of people who built their first site at age 4, but I make up for it with enthusiasm and endless optimism.
I’m now engaged to the web developer friend who didn’t have time for me in 2007 and together we are quite possibly the geekiest couple in the world, content to spend our evenings trying out new jQuery experiments and solving hypothetical problems with Drupal.
